Last Year we went to the Lazy Acres Tree Farm in Mississippi to get a real tree. So I decided that we would go back this year and get a live tree. We have had an artificial tree up until last year. I just love the smell of a real Chistmas tree. It had been raining all week so I new that it would be muddy, so I packed extra shoes for the girls to wear. I guess it was a good thing to because it was so muddy. We caught a ride on the sleigh and headed out to the feild to pick our perfect Christmas Tree. My deer husband cut our tree down with a hand saw. He loaded it on the sleigh and the guy got it ready for us to take home.

I love lazy acres! When I was a kid, our tradition was to go there on Dec. 1 every year to get our tree! Do they still have the reindeer? I wanted to continue that when I was married, but Bob hates real trees!
